October of 2009 Terry, I and our four-legged family relocated just outside the village of Anola in the southeast area of Manitoba. We now have 5 acres to enjoy and we are very close to many of the dog shows that I enjoy so fondly. Mind you, we are not that far from our Ontario family and the members of our extended dog families. We are still a small hobby breeding, training and boarding kennel and we are very committed to our two beloved breeds.

We feel a successful breeding program should focus on the total dog; intelligence, correct structure, confidence and beauty. Therefore we only incorporate dogs into our breeding programs that embody those characteristics. All breeding stock must be OFA or OVC certified hips and elbows and free of all major faults in accordance with the CKC Breed Standards.

Adult dogs and pups with the name HOLTERBREN appearing in their registered name are only sold by Holterbren Kennel Reg. exclusively.

We breed no more than 1 or 2 litters per year. We also feel strongly that puppies should be socialized and raised in a family environment. All our puppies are born and raised in our home to enhance their development.

We encourage contact and are available to everyone who purchases our pups, or adults, for advice and conversation regarding the pup, or adult, at any stage of his/her life.
